Thanks for the comment bruja. I have a couple of pictures with the eye in sharp focus and it even has the prettiest eye lashes too. But the cage is secondary in those and I wanted the cage to be deminishing the beauty of these birds, but not so much that they are no longer beautiful. That works better in this than in the sharp ones, but I think it works best in the next image with the faux bokeh. Regards -Najinsky
Would love to see the eye of the toucan in sharper focus, - isn't that kind of a universal craving? ...and the strong grid of the cage still there....dunno if that would have been possible in this shot. I like the composition. bruja
