Thanks for the lovely comments. This one came out almost exactly as I wanted it with the cage having an impact but not too severe. I think it was helped a lot by the fine gauge of the cage, whereas the toucan was a lot tougher because the cage seem to flick between there or not. The toucan result is overly harsh whereas this is much more subtle.
Most intriging use of forground/background to creat the "virtual bokeh" to a lovely, intriguing effect, and the suject is appealing. Love the soft pallette! great work, n.
