1000 Islands, Ontario (August, 2006)

For nearly two centuries the St. Lawrence River has been a major shipping thoroughfare. Its treacherous rapids and swift currents presented constant danger to shipping until the St. Lawrence Seaway tamed them in 1959. Today, the river bottom is the final resting place of hundreds of ships, dating back to the late 1700's, lost to the whims of the great river.

I dived the Kinghorn.. great dive.. I started diving in Saudi Arabia and swore would never dive in the cold water, however I missed it so completed divemaster this summer and I am converted.. Near Kinghorn or just past Ivy Lea bridge great drift dive.. Love it all
