This was worth waiting eighteen months for, Celia -- you give us a good sense of both Shanghai's grandeur and grime. Your juxtapositions are rich in incongruity, and your people pictures project human values. You also use abstraction to create symbolic meaning and allow the viewer to enter the image and make of it what they may. I am particularly impressed with your use of the wideangle lens here. Looking forward to seeing your take on Nanjing, Pingyao, and Beijing as well.
