For me, this image sayts a lot about the impersonal nature of our contemporary society. Our lives are so busy and isolated that it is hard for us to forge and/or sustain significant relationships. Hence, we see two empty chairs intimately facing each other as if having a conversation. A sad statement, indeed.
What a wonderful comment Tim! Thank you! I am quite proud of this image because of the power of suggestion. There is life and camaraderie within these walls of concrete even though we don't see a single person here.
This one caught my eye. It seems such a comment on urban life. There is such a bleakness here, but a sense of promise in the fact that the chair obviously held friends.
