"IRIS?!" Where's Iris?

Iris, Tim & Phil have been shooting-buddies for sometime, but I met Iris only for the first time in Shanghai. Phil & Tim often joke about Iris getting lost and disappearing off by herself, prompting them to call out for her ever so often. And this is my tribute to Iris' sense of "independent" adventure, as she immerses herself in photography!

What a reputation I have.....it's great fun, as long as people are patient with me. At least, you found me this time. I'll bet you don't have pictures of me in the Forbidden City where my infamous sense of direction (or lack of it) caught up with me big time! Anyway, here I am and I love this shot!

What a wonderful story Phil! Despite these little hiccups, sometimes people like her make our lives way more interesting and colourful! And l love dear Iris for it! What a wonderful time we had together in China! Our lives are never boring with her around!

At least you found Iris here -- I understand you lost her (or she lost you) in the Forbidden City, and she was still muttering about it when we last shot with her in Yosemite. The most historic Lost Iris Moment came a few years ago at Mono Lake -- our entire Dave Wyman Photo Tour was back at the parking lot, except for Iris and the equally illusive pbaser Carol Sandgren. After waiting for them for what seemed to be an eternity, we began to chant their names. Our voices bounced off the distant mountains and reverberated on the surface of Mono Lake itself. Eventually, they staggered out of the high forest of reeds surrounding the lake. They had lost the path, and followed our voices home.
