5 Kandy

Photos of a brief visit to Kandy in November 2012. Once again I stayed at the wonderful Queen's Hotel in the city centre, on the lake shore. Queen's is a popular wedding venue, so guests are likely to see wedding parties in the foyer.
Because I had already visited Kandy in 2011, I did not revisit the major sights. I did, however, go to Kandy Muslim Hotel (actually a café) where the distinctive Sri Lankan dish kottu roti is the house special.
