My hike begins on the Lincoln Woods Trail. Once the bed of a logging railroad which last operated in 1948, this trail ultimately leads into the western Pemigewasset Wilderness with several trails branching off along the way. My destination is the Osseo Trail, 1.4 miles in. This image was actually taken later in the afternoon on the return.
