Extinction Theory
Baldr was always methodically relentless about taking apart his toys.
Annie simply annihilates them.
This dinosaur is just minutes out of the shopping bag.
It doesn't stand a chance.
(my wife said it was very inexpensive - on clearance)

Little Miss Sunshine
In September, due to an accident of unknown origin, Annie had FHO surgery on her right hip .
She was 6 months old at the time, still in Arkansas, and is recovering nicely.
In this image you can see how her fur is still growing back.
We had this same surgery done on our German Shepherd back in the late 80s due to dysplasia.
Annie still relies primarily on her left rear leg but we are working on that.
Here she reminds me of Belle, who also sought out this sunny spot for napping.

Little Miss Jolly
Annie loves the old Jolly ball, but I'm not sure how long the handle will hold out.

Caught Napping
Yes, I had mostly forgotten how exhausting a puppy can be.

Little Miss Brindle
Annie has a brindle coat and doesn't seem to overly mind snow and cold.
The general expectation is that she will remain on the smaller side.
But the same was said about Baldr and he grew beyond expectations.
So we shall have to wait and see.

Annie
Annie is an 8+ month old mixed breed who came to us from Arkansas by way of Jezzie's Place in Canaan, New Hampshire.
She visited us here at home on the day after Thanksgiving and was Baldr approved.
On Friday she received her health certificate and we were able to pick her up yesterday in Canaan and bring her home.
Unofficially she is listed as a "Terrier/Malinois" mix and I tend to agree, though we may get a DNA test for confirmation.
She is incredibly sweet, quite smart and a very quick learner!
