I can't really walk around in it
But I think it might be good for napping

Baldr doesn't care much about them

Note: The mouse population has been rampant the past few years. Belle will literally sit for hours watching and waiting for the intruding mouse to appear. She has actually caught several.

The man says I am well-suited to be an inside model
It's not that I don't like to run in the woods
But I tend to disappear...for long periods of time...
That's why there aren't any pictures of me jumping over logs like Baldr
Or lying down in brooks
Or rolling in the snow
I'm kind of the anti-Baldr
And everyone will just have to deal with it

First Things
December 3, 2016 This is our first live glimpse of Belle
I'll forego the first person/dog narrative here because I really don't know what she was thinking.
She and a lot of other adopted dogs had spent the last 24 hours riding a bus from Alabama to Vermont.
We met her there and spent some time walking around before bundling her into the car for yet another trip, albeit a shorter one, to New Hampshire.
First she met Baldr. Then we had a long walk in the woods. She found a dead mouse in the leaves and rolled on it. She had a bath and didn't much like it.
She didn't know how to climb stairs. I'm not certain that she'd ever even been inside a real house before.
All this newness must have been bewildering to her but she was home and soon realized it for herself.
And despite the ordeal she still loves to go for a ride!

Belle here -
I finally have my own gallery
The man says it is long overdue
It's like Baldr's gallery only with a cooler name
I'm happy the man decided to do this
And I'll have more to say later
But for now I wish he'd turn off the light so I can sleep

Just a note re the obvious incongruency of the painting and the sofa. The painting is centered to the wall per my wife's wishes.
The sofa is not because it cannot be until interior modifications to the left are one day completed. In the interim I try hard not to notice.
