We had a blizzard
The snow was as deep as I am tall.
The man said in his stern voice:
"This is New Hampshire, snow happens."

It took the man a long time to clear away the snow
And he was using both paws!

For a while it was kind of peaceful
But then the wind blew very hard

The man hoped that the wind would finish clearing off his car
It didn't

After the plow came it was easier to get around

After lunch the storm was over
It was finally time to go in the woods!

But it just took a little bit longer to get there
I heard the man say that he wished maybe I was a Saint Bernard about now

It was tough going, at least for the man
I was busy watching out for coyotes and wildcats

But I decided we needed to hurry if we were going to make it home in time for dinner
