The rose chosen to commemorate the centenary of the Victorian Rose Society in 1999,
the first Rose Society in Australia.
I've seen this rose grown as a hedge and its eye stoppingly gorgeous
its a floribunda/cluster flowering rose bearing small clusters which
absolutely cover the waist-height leafy bush

A new rose in the garden, only a couple of years since planting
The buds and blooms are so pretty, but they do burn a little when
the temperatures climb near 40-C.
Strongly fragrant.

Winter rosebud
You could hardly call it "winter"
with temperature of 25C
but here's Amatsu-Otome
who matches the autumn colours
very well.
