Nagahama 長浜

A small city situated on the northeast of Biwa-ko, Nagahama was once a castle town controlled by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Regionally known for its reconstructed castle and several streets of historic storehouses and residences, it has recently developed a reputation for its fine glassware.
