Great Pictures of Jodhpur. I have also shoot some pics in Jodhpur and looking at the pictures it gave me good memories of that time. I have a few pics of Jodhpur on my gallery too.

Thank you for presenting my country of birth in such a beautiful light and showcasing its vibrance! It is a paradoxical place where you may see gorgeous forts on one side of the street, and slums on the other, while a highrise is built across from it all! I've lived away from there most of my life, but these pictures bring a sense of nostalgia, though I've only visited Jodhpur once. To me Jodhpur/Jaipur and Rajasthan in-general have so much history, presence and vitality, that any trip to India would be incomplete without a visit to the state of Rajasthan. When I think of India I think of color, textures, food, heat, dust, and an intricate mesh of traditions and new ideas as presented in some of your wonderful photographs. Thanks, Preeti Sagar

thank you for your kind comments everybody. Jodhpur was at the very end of my two months in India and I almost did not take any pictures because I was tired. However, I decided to once more brave the crowds of India and the small streets of this gorgeous city. These pictures are the result mainly of aimless wanderings through the streets of Jodhpur and the portraits are all taken in villages around Jodhpur in the desert.

This is a gallery about culture and respect, but it is also a gallery about color. You eye for and use of color really make this set of images pop off the screen.
