Shanghai, 2013

A few days spent in Shanghai in the company of my brother, a PBase member and frequent visitor with a working knowledge of Mandarin. The bright lights of Nanjing Road burn as brightly as ever, although I was not prepared for the level of hustling we encountered; the Bund has been extravagantly remodelled and of course Pudong, on the east bank of the Huangpo, has become a veritable forest of high-rise towers.
