I've always enjoyed macro photography, especially with the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens I use with my 30D, spec'd to 1:1, meaning that you can get close enough to get a "full size" image, as in a 1 cm object will fill 1 cm on the sensor. Tricky at the closest focus, especially without a tripod, but it takes great shots! I've used all of my cameras for their varied "macro" capabilities. Even with a little point-and-shoot, a nice flower or something else of interest will still make a great picture!
