Melbourne Cup Weekend 2005: I joined the YHA Bushwalking Club's 4-day trip on the Razor-Viking Circuit. Regarded as one of the toughest hikes on the Victorian Alps due to its remoteness, undefined sections, lack of water, steep hills and unpredictable weather.

The Holy Grail was completed in the following order
Day 1 - Mt Howitt Carpark, Macallister Springs, Mt Howitt, Crosscut Saw, Mt Speculation
Day 2 - Mt Speculation, Catherine Saddle, Mt Despair, Viking Saddle
Day 3 - Viking Saddle, The Viking , Dry River/Wonnangatta River
Day 4 - Dry River/Wonnangatta River, Zeka Spur Track, Mt Howitt Carpark

Definitely one of the toughest hike I've done this year! Great fun though!
