Photoshop post processing example (Dee)

The top photo is straight out of the camera. The bottom folder is post processed to bring it into more of what I thought I saw when I was photographing the egg. I probably could have adjusted my EV to bring it more into line. But then I'd have to try to adjust the LCD, just too much trouble! Most of the time I post process when using light in a situation like this. Of course two lights may have helped, but by experience I know it doesn't really raise the light level having two Ott-Lites on but adds another source to create shadows and to even out the lighting.

I did a slight levels adjustment. Then I duplicated the layer and choose either screen or overlay and brought the opacity down to whiten the image.
