Egg Roll

I swear this is my last egg image.... really :-)

I hope I did not break any rules in this one or, that I'm making you dizzy looking at this! lol

This is a photo of an egg with my white paper background rolled around the egg...
swear it is :-)

I photographed it with the egg all the way on the other side of the now rolled up paper,
this gave the appearance of depth / space and, might even have made the egg look like
some kind of solar eclipse in the process!! he he

Oh yes, my light source is right behind the egg on the far side where the egg is.
This was the most challenging yet of my image attempts. And I scotch taped the paper on
the outside of the "roll" so it would stay rolled... lest I end up with my flat white
background again.

I was sooo tempted to break out the PSE2 software and remove the noise in the image but,
alas I was a good boy and kept the software out of the picture... pun intended

If you look really closely, you can see the ruffled part of the paper... something I
was not thrilled about but, rolling up paper can sometimes be a task all in intself.

Well folks, I know this is a bit weird but ya gotta admit, it's different ? :-)

PS, keep your pets AWAY from the shooting area at all times. Eggs look like a mini
soccer ball to dogs... trust me, I know from experience!!! LOL

Good grief, Mark -- we've only started!!!!! Don't give up now, there are lots of things you can do now that you've proved to yourself you can photograph a "classic" version -- now go experiment some more. This is fun!
