This really is a white egg on a white piece of paper! I set up a lava lamp base, put some glass on it and covered it with a white sheet of paper with the egg on top of that. Unfortunately, the first glass cracked apart and the egg ended up falling into the light (but not breaking). I got a larger, thicker piece of glass and took straight shots at first, then started experimenting with various special effects and liked this the best (Solarize). When I was finished, the egg was cooked.
