I increased contrast on this image heavily, but that beam of light really looked like that in real life too...

After some very great advice (thank you Jesus), I burned some more detail in to the highlight areas on the end of the trail. In the original the highlights were too clipped. I replaced the image with the updated version. -Arn

Arn, a beautiful composition. I like the way the path makes you walk into the picture and the rays adds the "touch" to have a 5 starts. Good post processing. Jesus

Well, I think that you have chosen a right amount of contrast if the scene was what I imagine it to be. A silicon eye is quite different from the human eye
