The Stemme is to spend the night as the guests of Georg and Veva Becker, who have a fly-in home on a private airstrip just a couple of miles from Steve's house. These are not Georg and Veva, however, but their neighbors John and Felicity Brown, old friends of Steve's. John was a glider instructor at Steve's flight school back in the early 1980s; we lost track of them for several years until our kids turned up in school together.
