The Continental Divide northwest of Denver is socked in with storm clouds. After deviating eastward and sneaking around a line of storms near the Mummy Range, we find ourselves in clear air under a high overcast, with Longmont and Boulder in sight. This is Estes Park; the highest peak in the background is Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park, elevation 14,255'.
