Death Valley

Death Valley is one of those places that I have always wanted to go and see. This year, I decided to do just that and went out for 3 days. I happened to go during one of the strongest wild flower blooms in recent history. This does not imply that the bloom competed with a Colorado Rockies, Glacier National Park, or a Sierras bloom. There were, however, numerous flowers that littered the desert floor (some say it was Death Valley's bloom of the century) and I was just unable to use them in many compositions that I liked. I am sure that others have been able to make amazing photographs out of them. I just was not one of them:-)

As always, please feel free to vote for this Gallery if you like my Death Valley rendition.
