Bad Water : Death Valley

Death Valley National Park, Bad Water

Bad Water is one of the more popular sights within Death Valley. It is renowned for its delicate salt crystals that form intricate hexagonal cells. Heavy rains from Fall through Winter have increased the size of Lake Manley so much that they have covered almost all of the formations. Pictured here are salt/dirt formations similar to what might be found a the "Devil's Golf Course"
