This was a totally hosed up image. I had the camera in manual with the flash in high speed sync. This was about the third image and the flash didn't fire. I really like how it turned out. I'll need to remember what I did for next time.

Also, we're headed to Yellowstone bright and early in the morning and will be back late Monday. I will have pictures to post on Tuesday 24, May

oops.. me bad. This is actually a MOTH that looks like a hummingbird right? Gosh.. this pix is too confusing. haha

Is there such a bird as this???? I wouldn't have believed it until I saw it! I had always thought hummingbirds were colorful. Beautiful image esp. with the wings.

Sometimes the best images just happen in spite of us....this turned out great! Have fun in Yellowstone!
