We reached South Georgia Island where we anchored in Prince Olav Harbour. There's an abandoned whaling station here. Because asbestos was used in its construction back in the day, we're not allowed to land and can only get within 200 meters of shore in the Zodiacs. But we cruised around and saw the seals and penguins had reclaimed the area. As we sailed away that evening, some Humpback Whales played around our ship a bit before disappearing back to the deep.
