MISSING!!

Rancho Bernardo, CA

April 29: Self Portrait Friday

For today's PaD I had earlier posted a lovely picture of a nearby golf course, but people started asking me where my gull was. As I sat down for breakfast I realized that he is missing!

Photo-wise I wanted to crop tight enough for you to easily read the milk bottle. But tell me if you think this larger version *** is better? ***

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
1/30s f/8.0 at 22.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I like the tight crop better, the milk bottle can be read easier.

Nope, this version is better. But holy moses batman, I think someone shot holes in your gull.

Ah to have your imagination.

Hey Robin, I just woke up few minutes earlier, after a shower, I came here to check what we have today in PaD and I find this in my first gallery visited today. You got still laughting whith this great sense of humor!!!

In my opinion, for finding the sea gull this works better, and for finding some girl, the other one could works :-D

Thank you for the laughs for starting my day, I bet this is going to be a great day!! You too, have a fantatstic day!!

How I have missed your sense of humor!

Laughing my behind off here, Robin. But -- getting serious -- i know where your gull is. And for a price, let's say, a 100mm f2.8 macro lens, for instance, i can almost guarantee the gull's safe return. You know how to reach me.

The closeup makes this work. It's very funny. BTW: nice golf course shot even though it's gull-less.

Rolling in the throes of laughter Robin. Let's hope the SD missing gull squad doesn't get on your case.

I think the tight crop works better for the image you are trying to put across. Not as 'self-portraity', but better for the joke...unless Lucerne is really concerned with missing sky rats?
Herb 29-Apr-2005 19:41
KEEP IT THAE WAY, FIND ANOTHER BIRD...lol
