April 29: Morning on Verano Drive

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Perhaps I have never mentioned that my home is just across the street from a 18 hole golf course that is part of the Rancho Bernardo Inn. With a bit of a walk, the morning views are always pastoral and bucolic.

I want to be there.

What a great view you have!!!, or it is your front yard?
Karen Leaf30-Apr-2005 02:39
Do you ever find stray golf balls? Not a bad thing to be across the street from.

Very nice setting, Robin. It looks so very peaceful.

Got to say they do look nice when the rest of the landscape is dry & brown...lovely landscape shot, Robin.

Beautiful setting, Robin! Golf courses offer up some of the nicest landscape images and this is one of them.

But I now see that David Mingay caught him flying along the East River outside of NYC!

Oh, the gull is on vacation.

Cliff I boosted the saturation a bit... but this is what it looked like early this morning.

Hmmm...is this a real gold course or just an elabloate PS effect? Where's the gull?
JeremyGood29-Apr-2005 17:49
You are living the high life my friend.
This is a superbly composed shot.
Yet I've searched and searched and cannot find the seagull.

Coleen I play sometimes...not as avid as I used to be.

One of the networks will be carrying our Zurich Classic this weekend so you can see some of our "southern" golf courses.

Gorgeous! Do you play?
Guest 29-Apr-2005 16:49
Oh, perhaps you did just fail to mention that - I suppose next month you'll reveal to us that you actually *own* the golf course and hotel? And that you're going to have us all out for a PaD conference, and comp us all for the accommodations? Hmmmmm?

You know I love golf - this is killing me!
