Turanga is a small port city on the North Island. It is gateway to New Zealand’s prime Kiwi fruit growing region, a Maori preserve featuring hot springs, and the Rotorua area with stunning natural lakes.

Pretty hot springs but we were starting to get the wonderful sulfur smell

The Te Puke region is home to many Kiwi orchards, which do look like vineyards
