Puerto Madryn, Argentina


Puerto Madryn is a small resort city about half way down the coast in Argentina.
It is mostly known for the Punta Tombo National Penguin Reserve.
The area is arid with rolling hills and it was a 2 ½ drive to the reserve, but worth the trip. Tombo is a rookery for Magellanic Penguins.
In addition to the penguins there was quite a variety of wildlife.
