New Catalytic Converter & :-)

June 2011 my old catalytic has been rattling bad for quite some time. So I ordered a new Stainless Steel Magnaflow Catalytic Converter from FWDPerformance.com. I want to keep my car close to stock, (so I don't want to change the whole system to 2 1/2" or 3" mandrel bent) but on the other hand, the original exhaust goes down to 1 7/8" ID over the back axle. This really chokes down on the power. I decided to add a BadlanzHPE Electric Cut-out just ahead of the new Catalytic Converter. http://www.badlanzhpe.com/po.php?cPath=39&pID=149&osCsid=ee81056e02dd2bbb593ba3c6a02184dd
I also added a 2 1/2" turndown to direct the exhaust to the ground instead of burning up the floor board. Now I can have a nice quiet car when I want or when I want to feel the power, I can open up the cut-out a little or wide open.
