Oktoberfest - opening day parade

The opening day of Oktoberfest begins with a parade. Each participating brewery shows up with marching bands, people in traditional costumes, and a horse-drawn cart full of old-style wooden kegs of their beer. The parade passed within a few steps of our hotel in Munich.
