Before the Nazi occupation, Prague had a Jewish population of over 150,000 people. By the end of the war, there were about 4,000 Jews left in the city, almost all of whom were in hiding. Today, the Jewish population of Prague has recovered to about 6,000. These photos are of the historic Jewish sector of the city.
