All of the photos in this gallery were taken at the Nepean Sailing Club where there is an established Purple Martin colony spread among two large wooden houses. The larger house has 64 compartments and the smaller has 48 compartments. These Purple Martin houses are maintained by Peter Huszcz and every year in July he teams up with the crew at the Innis Point Bird Observatory to band the nestlings. These banding sessions are open to the public and many of the photos in this gallery were taken over the years during these banding sessions. New photos are at the bottom.
