This lucky fully grown and banded nestling was taken out of its compartment and brought to the banding table to show the crowd that gathered what a fully grown nestling looks like. I say this nestling was lucky because it was given a nice big drink before being released to fledge before our eyes. The other fully grown nestlings weren't given an extra drink like this.
