Many of the nest compartments that had birds in them on July 16 were empty today. Those that weren't empty mostly had fully grown nestlings in them like these guys. These fully grown nestlings were very sensitive to disturbances and did not like us looking in at them. A number of them were induced to fledge just by us looking in at them, which was okay since they were fully capable and ready to fly anyways.
