NGC 3372 - Eta Carina Nebula

This majestic nebula is simply The Grandest emission nebula visible in our Galaxy. Located some 10.000 light years from Earth, it spans more than 2x2 degrees (16 x the apparent size of the Moon). In deep Ha images, huge clouds of nebulosity span over all around and are apparently connected with the Eta Carinae.
