With so much history, Notre-Dame is the heart and soul of France.
Locate at Île de la Cité, the original medieval center of Paris on an island in the River Seine, the Notre-Dame de Paris was built between 1163 and 1345. The 19th century spire reaches a height of 90m, and the top of its two towers reach a height of 69m. The south tower is open to visitors. On the day we visited, we waited in line for almost 2 hours.
