Donald C. MunkirsHonestly, I've no idea how this man fits in, but he must. Kirkman Munkers Stanton got his middle name from his paternal grandmother, Matilda Munkers. There is no way, in a town of only three people, that a MUNKIRS/MUNKERS, is buried only a few feet away from a STANTON, and the two "not" be connected. No way. Until I figure out how, this family stays. These Munkirs are buried in Lathrop Cemetery, Lathrop, Clinton County, Missouri |

The Pardieu'sThomas Jefferson Pardieu and his wife, Mary Elizabeth [BUSH] Pardieu are a set of maternal great grandparents to, two of my three sisters. Thomas' father, Ranson Pardieu was the man for whom the STANTON family dog was named, affectionately known in the family as, "Pardy". Thomas PardieuThomas Jefferson Pardieu was born to, Ranson Pardieu & his wife, Elizabeth [Hubbard] Pardieu on, 28 March 1858, in Elkhorn, Ray County, Missouri. Sometime around 1878 he married, Mary Elizabeth Bush. Together this couple would share at least one known child. Thomas Jefferson Pardieu is a great maternal grandfather to my sisters, Kay Linda & Karen Sue. Kind of funny, as when we were kids all growing up, we had a French poodle for a pet. He was a great dog, with a horrible temper. Because he was French, my dad named him, Ranson Pardieu. We called him Pardi. Okay, so it's not such a funny story, but it always brings a smile to my face to remember such things. That dog was a hoot & my dad a classic. |

Unknown STANTONI have a feeling this man is a son to either, Loren Smith, William Dudley or Floyd Lee, STANTON. I state that because the photograph was produced in Roundup, Musselshell County, Montana. The afore mentioned three brothers, all sons of, David Atchison Stanton, are the only ones of this group I'm aware of that ever went to Montana. |
Unknown STANTONThis couple is connected to someone. I'm absolutely sure they are all descendants of, David Atchison STANTON. |
Unknown STANTONAll I know about this photograph is what was printed by the photographer. It was taken in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri. |
Unknown STANTONAny OKLAHOMA STANTON's out there? This photograph was printed in Central Oklahoma, in the town of Crescent City, Logan County, Oklahoma. Obviously, I'm guessing at the date it was shot. |
Unknown STANTONOh man, this picture is simply, stunningly beautiful. It was either drawn or photographed, I believe, in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri. It looks to have been done at the same time as the works for David Atchison's three daughters, Jessie, Matilda Elizabeth "Bess", and Rebecca Vivian, STANTON. However, after looking at those girls for some time, I don't see a resemblance to them. Obviously, we need some help here. |
Unknown STANTONI simply don't have a clue. This is a regular picture, not a professional photographer, as the previous shots. These children belong to someone, but who? |
Unknown STANTON"Faye Larkin" was written on the back of this photograph by my dad, John Harley Stanton. That is virtually all I know about this little girl. I'm quite certain that she's a descendant of, David Atchison Stanton, but have no idea where she fits in. Any help? |
Unknown STANTONThis was a personal picture placed into the frame from a professional photographer. The baby's identity escapes us at this point. If you have any idea whatsoever, who this child is, please let us know. |
