Love the bottle and the green table. The cards are a nice concept- however the one bothersome thing to me is that I would have put them in the opposite order. (or is that just me?) I always put the highest cards on the left and bottom side of my hand when I hold them. You got my vote anyway :)

i think your right. it needs a third prop. something red would be nice. could you put the deck of cards behind? assuming the back of the cards have a red and white pattern. but i like the idea. it has a narrative.

Thanks for the comments Bob! I tried shooting just the bottle with different backgounds, and nothing struck me as more than a bad attempt. I needed an extra prop of some kind, but what? The nature of the bottle reminds me of the old west(even if made in Boston?), and with the old west I always think of outlaws and saloon card games(from old western movies I'm sure). Last call of the card game? Or last call for Alcohol? Take your pick!! ;-)..Thanks again....

Composition and lighting are good here. I like the old bottle and the green table top is nice.
I'm feeling a bit dense here though - I need a little help tying the cards in...I get the last call reference (I think).
