Thank you, Alain. Regarding your small remark, I like frames around art but for some reason that remains unknown to me, I dont care for frames around photographs. Perhaps someone with a better understanding of the mind can explain this to me.
When confronted with a situation where the edges of a photograph arent self-framing, as would be the case with the white sky of this shot if it were shown against a white background, I would alter the white enough for it to create the edges, probably grey in this case or bluish grey. This is of course always subject to the background the photograph will be shown against. For presenting it here, I knew all the edges would show up fine against the black.
I love everything about this one (I couldn't say it better than David ;-)
Small remark : I noticed you never frame your entries. A good image doesn't need a frame of course, but in this case I think it would add to the 'grandeur' of this pic. Also considering the white bottom part, which, in combination with a white background looses much of its effect. Just a thought...
Greetings, Alain

Nice view of a balloning journey on the way.
I just 'hear' the burners now as I look at it. I would love to go up in one someday but not one that (like this) carries approx 20 folk.
