Fly Me to the Moon - by Tom

This is a jet passing by at night... the impulse of the tripod shaking as I pressed the button... the impulse of the lights flashing at 1 second intervals... and all the energy to keep it in the air! I did splice in last nights moon, which was also taken with the Z1 (1/25s, f8)

Thanks. I was thinking about "reversing it"... but I thought that in bad taste. I was really amazed at how this turned out, it was a long way up and just looked like a normal plane with headlights and lights flashing, I was real surprized it picked up every flash of each light. Only 2 planes passed over while I was out, I tried the self timer on the 1st and got a black screen... obviously I have a $10 tripod... my next "investment".

Very unusual and a beatiful long exposure. Before reading you caption about the tripod shake I was worried that the plane light path was from the top to the bottom.. which did not look too good for the plane. Well done

Hurray! Energy presented in a most unusual light. Beautiful.
