Nice capture! You can feel the energy in it.

Very well seen and captured.

The odd thing about such rowing events is that there are brief pauses between strokes when the boat seems not to move and you have grabbed just that with the background boat blurred and the foreground static.

Thanks for the comments, Bruce & John. I've done a slight recrop along the lines you suggested, John. It makes the spray come right out of the top right hand corner, which I kind of like - but wonder if if may be a bit disconcerting? I've popped the original in the originals gallery. SB

Nicely timed SBF. The sense of rapid changes as the oars propel the boat in stages is well captured in this one. I also like the spray of water at the right to emphasise that sudden release of energy. For framing, the boats may do with being further from the centreline. I don't find the dark background adds much, so perhaps you could crop that a bit to provide a framing variation to see what you think of that in comparison to the original. Cheers, John

Fits the theme perfectly. Interesting how one boat is in focus while the other is blurred. Nice sense of motion. Well done.
