Key to post processing this image was selecting the areas I wanted to keep – then doing a selection inverse and deleting the (inverse) selected areas. By doing my original selection with a very small Tolerance setting, highlight and shadow areas were excluded accounting for the “missing” parts of the cars. The colors on the final image were not altered by Post Processing
