Tammy and I walked a trail for a short distance that leads to another of the Big Creek Lakes. Just as we started up the trail we both noticed this bright red plant. My first inclination was a flower but upon getting closer we discovered it was the red leaves. I really like the red in this image as it stands out compared to all the green and rust brown around it.
