In November I traveled to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada to photograph polar bears along the Hudson Bay.
Seeing these magnificent animals in their home environment was fantastic.
Learning more about their diminishing home, the ice that is retreating due to global warming,
is so sad. I stayed on the ice for 6 days and saw the bears right outside the Tundra Lodge.
We observed the devotion of polar bear mothers to their cubs, their protectiveness --
Hope springs eternal, maybe things will change and maybe they can survive?
Really enjoyed your gallery! I love that you included photos of the landscape as well. I did this 5 day stay at Tundra Buggy Lodge 5 years ago. It is an experience I will never forget!
