Cheetah Plains, South Africa

Our second safari camp was Cheetah Plains, recently renamed from Djuma.
We spent two nights here and had an incredible experience with a female Cheetah and her three cubs. On the first day we were able to get some great images of the family, but on the second, we experienced a kill. We were able to watch the female stalk a Duiker (small antelope), kill it and drag it back to the cubs. We then watched while she rested and then brought the cubs to eat. Quite a thrill.
