What have I done???

Nyon (Switzerland)

If I had lived some centuries ago, at this stage I might already hear the distressing crackling of the burning firewood of my stake.
They burnt people for much less.
What would have been my guilt, my sin?
Transporting to nowadays parameters the absolute certitudes of the religious tribunals of the past, the evidences are obvious: I take pictures of crows and cats, so I love them, as a consequence I must have some immoral deal with them, since everybody knows they are devilish creature...The conclusions are easily deduced.
If one would need another proof, here it is.
I have kept on claiming that I don’t like summer heat, for reasons the respectable people refuse to imagine and look what I have done!
It’s the middle of July and the weather would be supposed to display its talent of summer heat in the most glorious way.
“But, look, good people of the jury, look...It has been raining for two whole days, the temperature dropped at autumnal levels...
The guilty is, without any doubt, this woman who conjured with cats and crows.
This woman who stays silent, but looks so satisfied and just smiles thinking of the sublime little pleasure to sleep this night, in the middle of summer, all wrapped up into a duvet.
Burn the witch!!!!”

Very creative capture Marisa. I love how the cat is walking through. Only a cat and a determined photographer out in the rain.

Well done, Marisa! Your spell seems to have worked far & wide...here in UK it is quite wet too, and temperatures have not got very high at all...can I join your coven? :-)
Love the moist image...great composition. The cat, not being black, is obviously not in your coven, and its slightly fed up attitude shows he does not share our delight at being spared a glaringly bright, hot, dry summer!

Voted for such a great shot. I missed the umbrella the first time as I was looking at those beautiful angles, curves and tones. This is your lucky day Marisa, the matches are all wet.
