One of the best ways to survive summer is to get out for a walk quite early in the morning to avoid two of the main catastrophic features of the season, heat and crowds.
Summer can be merciful and nearly generous in that magic and short time which comes immediately after sunrise.
Then I keep on thinking that we can discover always new aspects of our daily reality if we look at its apparent banality with bright and curious eyes.
The same tree might have so many different faces according to the light, the month and even a wall, a plain wall can look different day after day if one takes the time to peruse its wrinkles, its bricks, its secrets, a lizard running by, a wild and stubborn little flower which wants absolutely to grow there.
Then there are the involuntary incongruous details.
Like this a little mysterious and dilapidated little house, which seems to give us a silent glooming message, claiming on its chimneys to be “S A D”.
But the early morning sun caresses its roof and it can be good enough to cheer up a little also the moodiest small house.
